The 14th International Symposium on Mining with Backfill (Minefill 2024) is co-locating with CIM Connect 2024, the annual convention and expo hosted by the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum. As a Minefill attendee, you’ll enjoy access to both the CIM expo and its social events.
If you’re interested in attending CIM Connect’s technical presentations, you can purchase access during the registration process.

Notes:
- All rates ($) are in Canadian funds (taxes are extra).
- A processing fee of $150 will be applied to all cancelled registrations.
- After September 11, 2022, no refund will be issued for registration fees and social tickets.
- Substitutions must be submitted in writing by the original registrant by September 9, 2022.
- CIM is not responsible for airfare, housing, or other costs incurred by participants in the event of program or registration cancellation.
- Changes and cancellations must be requested in writing by email before September 9, 2022 to: nbakka@cim.org
CIM may photograph or film MINEFILL attendees, delegates, sponsors and presenters at both the virtual and in-person portions of the conference. By registering, you give CIM permission to use any images in which you appear for marketing or other promotional purposes.
Group Registration
Minefill 2024 is delighted to offer group savings to organisations who register 10 or more employees, as follows:
- Groups consisting of 10 to 19 employees will be eligible for a 10% discount on registration.
- Groups of 20 or more employees will be entitled to a 20% discount on registration.
The discount applies to CIM National Member and Non-Member registration fees only.
